This Privacy Policy explains how BC Glass & Tint ("we," "us," or "our"), a family-owned window tinting, auto glass, and blinds business located at 1633 Boulder City Pkwy, Boulder City, NV 89005, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit bcglassandtint.com (the "Site") or contact us through it.

Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you submit our quote or contact form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address, if you provide it
• The service you selected from the dropdown
• Your vehicle identification number, or VIN, if you are asking about a windshield replacement and choose to give it. That field is optional and it only appears when you select windshield replacement
• Any details you include about your vehicle, home, or project
• Which page of our Site you sent the form from, which the form records automatically so we know what you were reading

Our website host, Netlify, also processes our form submissions and may automatically log standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, for security and basic site operation.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own. No third party collects information about your activity across other websites through our Site, with two exceptions you should know about. The first is our About page, which includes an embedded Google map. See "Third-party content and links" below.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your quote request or question
• Schedule and provide the services you ask about
• Contact you about your request by phone, text, or email
• Keep records of our work

We will contact you about the request you sent us, by phone, text, or email, using the contact details you gave us. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages. If that ever changes, we will ask for your permission separately first, and you will be able to say no without it affecting your service or your price.

Analytics

The second exception is Google Analytics. We use it to see how many people visit the Site, which pages they read, and whether they tap to call, text or email us. It sets cookies in your browser whose names begin with _ga, and it sends Google your IP address, the pages you view, and general information about your device and approximate location.

We use this only to understand what is working on the Site. We have not turned on Google's advertising features, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your information. What Google does with the data it receives is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.

If you would rather not be counted, you can opt out of Google Analytics on every site you visit by installing Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Your browser's own settings for blocking or clearing cookies will also stop it.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

• Trusted service providers that help us operate the Site and process form submissions (for example, our website hosting and form provider), who may only use the information to provide those services;
• Others when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Reviewing and correcting your information

If you want to see what you sent us, correct something, or have it deleted, email info@bcglassandtint.com or call 702-550-8840 and tell us what you need. We will confirm who you are using the phone number or email address you originally gave us, and then we will make the change. There is no charge for this.

Your Nevada privacy rights

Under Nevada law (NRS 603A.300 to 603A.360), a Nevada consumer may submit a verified request directing a website operator not to sell certain covered information. We do not sell your information, and we have never sold it.

Our designated request address for these requests, and for any other question about your information, is info@bcglassandtint.com. Write to us there and we will respond within 60 days. If we need more time we will tell you, and we will take no more than 30 additional days. You can also reach us by phone or mail using the details at the end of this policy, though email is the fastest route.

Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to respond to your request, provide our services, and maintain normal business records, unless you ask us to delete it.

Children's privacy

Our Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party content and links

Our About page includes a map embedded from Google. When that map loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. This happens as the page loads, without you clicking anything. We do not receive or see any of that information. What Google does with it is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours.

Our Site also links out to third-party sites such as Google, Yelp, Facebook and Nextdoor. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
