Boat and RV Window Tint Near Lake Mead
A boat or an RV needs a different kind of window film work than a car. We tint curved windshields, cabin windows and side glass on boats, and cab, entry and slide-out windows on RVs, all done at our shop in Boulder City near Lake Mead. We are the Boulder City shop, in Boulder City, since 1994, not a valley company driving out to meet you. Why a Boat or RV Is a Different Job Than a Car
Boat glass is often curved and set into a gasket in the hull or cabin, at angles a straight strip of automotive film was never cut for. RVs bring their own mix of flat cab glass, small awning windows, and sometimes a full wall of side glass. On the water, glare comes up off the lake as much as it comes down from the sun, and the inside of a boat cabin or a parked RV can bake all day with nobody there to crack a window. Ceramic film cuts glare and blocks UV on all of that glass, whether the vehicle sits at a marina or gets trailered home every weekend.

This is written for people who keep a boat at Lake Mead or trailer one in for the season, and for Boulder City residents with an RV parked at home. It is not written for someone passing through on the highway looking for a drive-by service. We are the Boulder City shop, close to the lake, for people who are actually here, at the water or in town, not for through traffic.
Is There a Tint Law for Boats and RVs?
Nevada's window tint statute, NRS 484D.440, is written for motor vehicles on the road. It does not address watercraft, and we are not going to stretch a car and truck law to cover a boat. Whether an RV counts as a motor vehicle under that statute is a question we want a straight answer to before we put it in writing, so for now, ask us about legal shade options for your vehicle.
